As a designer working on high-end projects, I was often frustrated by the lack of unique, metal architectural elements in the marketplace. I began to dream about creating my own company to fill the void, and it was on my first visit to Italy that the concept for Tuscan Ironworks was born.

As I traveled through the enchanting Tuscan landscape, I was captivated by the architectural details that graced homes of every description, from magnificent country villas to rustic farmhouses. There was an honesty of execution that's rare in today's world…even the humble chimney cap was designed with respect, treated like a fine piece of sculpture.

Now, it's one thing to have a dream, but quite another to make it reality. I needed to find a flexible resource…a metal fabricator who'd be an extension of my pencil…and could deliver on time and to spec. My dogged search led me to the perfect partner, Paul Lestz. His talented craftsmen had the special skills to meticulously produce each piece by hand, from start to finish. Together we launched Tuscan Ironworks, with decorative chimney caps as our first offering. Since then, our line has grown to embrace letterboxes, lighting fixtures, window treatments, door hardware and much more…to complement any architectural style.

At Tuscan Ironworks we're as fanatical about customer service as we are about quality. If you want to put a personal design stamp on your projects, our design department will collaborate with you to create your vision. As we like to say, “you draw it, we'll make it.” And, of course, you can rely on us for on-time delivery and expert installation advice.
